The Digital Devices MAX SX8 (DVB-S2 / DVB-S2X 4/8) HDTV tuner card is for the PCI Express slot with eight TV tuners (four full-spectrum tuners with eight DVB-S / S2 / S2X Demodulators allow simultaneous reception of 8 complete DVBS / S2 / S2X transponders) designed. The ultra-compact design of the HDTV card from Digital Devices, its low power consumption (about 7 watts), the flexible choice of operating mode and Unicable and JESS support, allow you to flexibly use in any solution situation. The Digital Devices MAX SX8 can be extended with an Octopus Single-CI or Octopus Twin-CI card for PCIe. Of course, a Flex-CI connected to a Cine or Octopus Bridge can also be used.

Digital Devices MAX SX8 - Flexible in many solution situations

The Digital Devices MAX SX8 can be extended with an Octopus Single-CI or Octopus Twin-CI card for an additional PCIe. Usable on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (.1), as well as Windows 10 and Linux, the Digital Devices MAX SX8 HDTV card can be customized to suit the environment through the flexible choice of operating mode.

Operation of the MAX SX8 HTDV tuner card in quad mode

In Quad mode, the card can be connected to Quad LNBs or 4 Series Multiswitches and supports a satellite. When using a Quattro LNB or the trunk output of a multiswitch, the operating mode "Quattro" for a satellite is selectable. (Both modes require only 4 cables for 8 tuners, thanks to integrated multi-switch)

Operation of the MAX SX8 HDTV tuner card in single cable mode

In the "single-cable" operating mode, the card can be used for unicable use via an antenna cable (requirement: Unicable® / SCR / CENELEC En50494 compliant LNB or multiswitch according to En50494) or JESS (precondition: Jess® / CENELEC En50607 compliant LNB or multiswitch according to En50607) Support operated. When using Unicable® up to 8 tuners and for JESS® with up to 32 tuners can be supplied via an antenna cable. Several satellites are supported in this mode. (In this operating mode you only need 1 cable to Port1 for 8 tuners, thanks to integrated multi-switch)
