The THC-D505IRP is a vandal-proof 5.0-megapixel TVI / CVI / AHD / CVBS Dome camera, equipped with powerful EXIR LEDs and a high-resolution 2.8mm wide-angle lens. In order to withstand even the most adverse environmental conditions, the camera was housed in weather-proof, vandal-proof housing and is therefore ideally suited for installation outdoors and indoors.

The powerful EXIR 2.0 LEDs provide significantly better illumination in the dark up to a range of 30m. The outdoor camera also features a Wide Dynamic Range with 130dB. With Wide Dynamic Range, objects that would normally only be seen in the picture when they are overlit or darkened can be shown clearly in both the light and the dark areas.

With the 2.8mm wide-angle lens and 1/3 "progressive scan image sensor, the TVI / AHD / CVI / CVBS dome camera covers significantly larger areas without impairing the image quality. The multi-format technology enables the high-resolution video signal up to 300m (RG59) or 500m (RG6) via coaxial cable directly to the TVI / CVI / AHD recorder. The compact dome camera offers convenient access to the screen menu via the existing coaxial cabling. All menu functions are controlled and set via a TVI / CVI / AHD recorder or corresponding control unit.

Extreme temperature fluctuations are also no problem for this vandal-proof 4-in-1 dome camera. It works without interruption in both very cold and very hot temperatures from -40 ° C to + 60 ° C. To protect against dust, sand, and unfavorable weather conditions such as rain and snow, this vandal-proof dome camera was housed in IP67 weatherproof housing.

5.0-megapixel resolution
With the extremely high 2560x1944p resolution, an even higher level of detail is achieved than was the case with Full HD cameras. In this way, objects that are even further away can be better identified and significantly larger areas can be monitored. Neostar TVI cameras deliver images of larger areas without having to accept any loss in image quality. The much greater depth of field is the key to getting usable images even where classic cameras, without megapixel resolution, can no longer deliver usable images.

Wide dynamic range 130dB
The ability of a camera to deliver optimal images in extreme lighting conditions is known as a wide dynamic range. Especially in situations with strong backlighting, the WDR function is absolutely necessary if the images are to be created without excessive over-lighting. In combination with the powerful progressive scan CMOS sensor, this TVI camera has an excellent Wide Dynamic Range function with a high dynamic range. Thanks to the advanced WDR technology, the images no longer appear color-distorted but convince with the sensationally good color representation and avoidance of motion blurring.

Ultra-low light
Cameras equipped with ultra-low light technology produce even better images in the dark. An increased light sensitivity ensures noise-free and detailed images, even in deep darkness.

4-in-1 technology: TVI / CVI / AHD / CVBS
High definition video over coax. TVI / CVI / AHD sends an almost latency-free 5.0MP video signal over RG59 coaxial cable. All Neostar 4-in-1 cameras and recorders offer the advantages of extremely high video resolution, but they can be installed and commissioned as easily as standard analog surveillance systems. The possibility of considerably longer cable runs is also a great advantage of TVI / CVI / AHD systems. These can be used up to 500m (RG6) / 300m (RG59) from TVI / CVI / AHD recorders.

Smart IR
With Smart IR, clear and sharp images are produced even in poor lighting conditions. Smart IR (Smart Infrared) automatically adjusts the amount of infrared light used to illuminate a scene. Depending on how far an object comes closer to the camera, the infrared lighting is increased or reduced in order to create an optimal image for as long as possible.

Day / night (ICR)
Neostar cameras with the day/night (ICR) function deliver sharp images even in poor light conditions and at night. During the day, the IR cut filter blocks infrared light to produce unadulterated color images. In low light and at night, the filter is removed and infrared light passes through to deliver crisp, well-defined black and white images.

Privacy masking
Some areas are better left unrecorded. These can be particularly sensitive private areas, but also public areas. With this camera you can therefore easily define up to 4 privacy zones: This allows you to hide up to 4 freely definable areas independently of one another. These hidden areas appear neither in the live image of the camera nor in the saved image.

On-screen menu control via coax
Easy control of TVI on-screen menu settings via coax. This camera offers a user-friendly function of the on-screen menu setting via the existing coax cabling, which eliminates the need for laying an additional data cable. The control and setting can be realized with any Neostar HD-TVI recorder.

3-axis camera mount
