The Octagon SF8008 V3 Supreme Combo differs from the SF8008 Supreme mainly in the DVB-S2X tuner and demodulator used. The V3 Supreme uses the Silabs Si2166-D60 tuner in combination with the RDA5815m, which is particularly advantageous when processing low symbol rates.

However, this change does not affect the reception of German Astra satellites (e.g. Astra 19.2°E), as both models are ideally suited for these frequencies. Apart from this modification, the rest of the equipment, including the DVB-C/T2 tuner and demodulator (Altobeam ATBM7821), remains unchanged.

These differences therefore mainly affect the reception of satellites with lower symbol rates and are not relevant for everyday use with German satellite frequencies.

The dual OS technology of this receiver meets the highest requirements for a multimedia device and opens up a multitude of new possibilities. With an advanced tuner and demodulator, an M.2 interface for internal hard drives, built-in dual-band WiFi (2.4/5 GHz) with up to 1200 Mbps and Bluetooth 5.1, the Octagon SF8008 SUPREME sets new standards in terms of performance and connectivity.

Combo Tuner for Modern Entertainment
The receiver offers two improved tuner options DVB-S2X Silabs and DVB-C/T2 Altobeam so that you get better performance and power. With a USB 3.0 port, a Gigabit LAN interface, and H.265 video decoding, the receiver enables a comprehensive 4K experience. Enjoy modern entertainment with HDR, HLG, and H.265 decoding. Thanks to Gigabit LAN, a fast connection to high-resolution content is guaranteed.

User-Friendly Versatility
The dual OS function with E2 Linux and Define OS, support for customizable skin user interfaces,s and free plugins under the E2 Linux OS make the receiver extremely user-friendly.
